Ashleigh Contracts have been awarded a £1.25 million subcontract for McLaughlin & Harvey at the new £150m DP World London Gateway Berth No. 4 Project on the Thames Estuary.

Ashleigh will return to this site, having last worked for Dredging International in 2012 and 2013 on the construction of 1,750m of coastal protection Revetments associated with the Stage 2 Reclamation Area.

This new subcontract for Ashleigh will involve the removal of approx. 430m of the Stage 2 Revetments and the infilling against the new Berth No. 4 Quay Wall being constructed by McLaughlin & Harvey.

Ashleigh mobilised to site ready for a start on Revetment stripping once McLaughlin & Harvey had sufficiently advanced the new Quay Wall by April 2023. Ashleigh’s works are scheduled to end in late October 2023.
